The work of a journalist in digital periodicals. A textbook for university students

The textbook considers various aspects of the work of a journalist in modern printed and digital media. Its structure and content take into account the digital transformations that take place in the media space, which seriously change the profession of a journalist and require its adaptation to new conditions. The training manual gives a wide overview of the newspaper and journalal periodicals in the press and online, and attention is paid to the development of regional Russian media. The device of the convergent edition is shown and the specifics of the editorial management are revealed, relevant, including digital work technologies in modern journalism, are presented with the main genres and practical approaches to the preparation of texts for modern media. The main trends in the development of modern media as an object of design are also analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the use of language tools in the work of a modern journalist.
