The policy of sanctions as a tool of modern international relations. Monograph

The monograph discusses topical issues of using various kinds of restrictive measures and sanctions in international relations. Conceptual aspects of the study of the problem of sanctions were disclosed and the dynamics of the impact of sanctions on Russian key sectors of the economy have been analyzed. The key idea of ​​the entire monograph is the substantiation of the allegations of the inappropriateness of the application of sanctions, which, firstly, in most cases are ineffective measures, and, secondly, often lead to the opposite desired result.
The author’s goal was to systematize the basic ideas on the theory and practice of applying international sanctions in modern conditions, as well as in the development of scientific recommendations that could contribute to improving the efficiency of the Russian economy in the conditions of sanctions. The work reveals various aspects of economic relations and relationships of the countries of the world today. The text of the scientific research can be used in the educational process for students and graduate students of economic specialties in the profile "Economics"
