The monograph analyzes a policy in relation to cities and regions with monosocialization as one of the priority areas of state policy. The specifics of monoprophic cities and regions as socio-political phenomena and objects of state regulation are considered. The basic principles, directions, mechanisms and tools for implementing state policy regarding monoprophic spatial formations are investigated. Special attention is paid to a political and compararative analysis of the foreign and domestic experience in the formation and implementation of this direction of state policy, as well as to identify the degree of applicability of its main models in modern conditions.
