In the work of the "Sociology of the Political Party", the classic of political sociology, Robert Michels (1876-1936), first published in 1911, was formulated the "Iron Law of the Oligarchy", based on the analysis of the power structure of organizations such as political parties and trade unions. The main idea of Mikhels is that all organizations, even the most egalitarian and committed democracies, which, as it is supposed, should be socialist parties, are actually oligarchic and obey a small leading group.
