The work of the "Socialist Systems of the Italian economist and sociologist Wilfredo Pareto was published more than a century ago in Paris and was prepared on the basis of a course of lectures, which was given by the author at Lausanne University. This work is first published in Russian and is already the third in the series of books by Wilfredo Pareto after the "Textbook of Political Economy" and "Transformation of Democracy".
In "Socialist Systems", Pareto proposed an approach to the classification of types of socialisms, according to which the content of "real systems" includes objectively possible methods of economic and social organization of society based on the priority of collective forms of management.
He separated "real systems" - historical prototypes of socialist societies - from "ideal systems" - socialist ideals, philosophical, political -ideological and moral and ethical constructions.
