“The bizarre dialectics of history unexpectedly put forward Soviet power with its ideology of the International to the role of the national factor in modern Russian life,” wrote Nikolai Vasilievich Ustryalov (1890 - 1937), a Russian politician, writer and publicist, founder of National Bolshevism. During the Civil War in Russia, he was on the side of the whites and fought with the Bolsheviks, then, in exile, he rethought his ideas under the influence of the success of the Soviet regime in the construction of a new state. Trying to combine the ideology of Bolshevism with Russian nationalism, Ustryalov created a special political movement - National Bolshevism. In the USSR, it was defeated in the 1930s, but continued to exist abroad in order to be reborn in Russia after the collapse of the Soviet system. The book presents the main works of N.V. Ustryalov, who give a fairly complete and coherent idea of the National Bolshevism as an ideology
