Is the revolution possible in the modern world as something more than those “theatrical” events that the media - in the absence of “big politics” - taught us to be considered “revolutions”? Today, not only right, but also many left -wing theorists give a negative answer to this question. This book is dedicated to the analysis of the thesis of the end of the revolution. The criticism of this thesis and the arguments justifying it is not pursued by the purpose of prove the opposite, that is, the opportunity, not to mention the need, revolution. Our goal is to discover the path of that theory of the revolution that frees the latter from the concept of progress and at the same time shows it as a paradigm of the modern phenomenon, paying tribute to the contingent, eventful and liberation character of the revolution
