The training manual reveals a whole range of problems of the theoretical, methodological and applied nature related to the subject field of political regionalism-a relatively new and dynamically developing interdisciplinary scientific direction, oriented towards the study of the spatial (territorial) measurement of the world of political and diversity. The main scientific schools and paradigms of political regionalistics have been identified, the multifaceted and variable nature of the formation and development of this academic discipline within the framework of political science is shown. Particular attention is paid to the domestic experience of the formation and implementation of state regional policy as a multidimensional sociopolitical phenomenon, as well as the problems and prospects of the federal development of modern Russia. Each chapter is attached to control issues and tasks, topics of abstracts, a list of recommended literature, which allows you to organize independent work of students.
