The training manual covers issues related to the study of migration in different branches of scientific knowledge, reveals the specifics of disciplinary approaches to the study of the phenomenon. The conceptualization of the concept of "migration" is analyzed, classification of species and the main factors of determination of the phenomenon are given. Particular attention is paid to the actual processes of conflict expression of migration, structural and functional parameters, as well as the main trends are considered.
