The book We are talking about the strongest (main) stress in the phrase. It is sometimes called logical, or semantic. The book consists of chapters and sections, illuminating phonetics, grammar, semantics and pragmatics of phrasal stress. The text is accompanied by numerous examples. At the end of the book, a small dictionary is given, which is designed to illustrate the connection of lexical semantics with the accent behavior of the word when using it in the text. The main task of the dictionary is to demonstrate the existence of a connection between intonation and lexical semantics.
