The work presents a comprehensive pragmalinguistic description of the phenomenon of communicative paternalism as a whole and the discursive practices constituting it in particular (in the format of institutionalized forms of communication on the material of Russian, German and English) Particular attention is paid to the intercultural aspect of the manifestation of paternalism within the framework of the communicative genre "interviewing at work."
