The monograph is dedicated to the business newspaper M. Ya. Kittara "Industrial Leaf (1858-1859) The biography of the professor of Moscow University Modesta Yakovlevich Kittara was recreated, the story of the publication of the industrial sheet on censorship stored in the Russian State Archive was told, a detailed analysis of the content and structure of the newspaper, the subjects and problems of key articles is presented. Also, according to censorship documents, the reasons for the termination of the newspaper output were established in 1859.
