The monograph is devoted to the analysis of the American concepts of the new world order for the 21st century. Firstly, the assessments of American experts are proposed to the role of the United States in the world, taking into account the loss of American superiority and fundamental changes in the balance of forces in the current historical period. Secondly, key factors are investigated that give certain hopes to preserve the existing "liberal world order". Thirdly, the ideas of the “more multipolar world” are considered, in the creation of which new global centers of power - China, Russia, India, as well as regional powers such as Iran, Turkey should play an important role. Fourth, in the book an important place is the analysis of the US policy of the "new deterrent" of Russia, its goals and motives.
