The author of this book, who previously published a number of his books on real socialism and the socialist revolution, proposes here his assessment of the theoretical base of the movement “For New Socialism” that has recently arose in Russia. The study shows the sources of the theory of “New Socialism” and compares its provisions with the program provisions of the Communist Party on the updated socialism of the 21st century, the programmings of other communist parties, as well as with the course of European Communism and “New Socialism” in the left -wing parties and among Western economists and political scientists. At the same time, the possible prospects for the coming to the power of supporters of new socialism peacefully in the elections to the governing authorities of the Russian Federation in the context of an increase in the economic and political crisis in the post -building period are shown here.
