In the previous book "Confession of the Economic killer", John Perkins exposes the destructive fraud of "economic killers": he writes that these are highly paid professionals who pump out trillions of dollars from countries around the world. They use methods such as falsified financial reports, tank elections, blackmail, extortion, sex and murders.
Perkins himself was engaged in loans: his duties were to convince strategically important states to borrow gigantic amounts of money for large-scale "scientific and technical" projects aimed at maintaining the interests of the richest people, while immersing the countries into poverty and debts.
