The book is dedicated to a fundamentally new topic of political narcissism for us. The phenomenon, which seems to many familiar and quite marginal, turns into one of the fundamental problems of all our time - an epidemic of narcissism and dynasties of the daffodils, the “plague of the 21st century” and the psychological core of postmodern. In politics, this is by no means a malignant pathology of leaders. These are mass disorders of fixation on the grandeur and omnipotence of the political whole. Narcissism compensates for household complexes, but at the same time distracts from solving real problems. The fact that in people we perceive only as a funny and generally harmless character trait is fraught with large -scale tragedies. The narcissistic narcissism of entire countries is accompanied by the collapse of basic life support systems: economics, technology, infrastructure. The connection of narcissism with the attraction to death has not been invented by philosophers, and the death of the Narcissus from hunger is not a random detail of a beautiful myth
