Modern Korea. Metamorphoses of turbulent years (2008 - 2020)

The book discusses the problems of the political and socio-economic development of the two states of the Korean Peninsula, their relationship during periods of reconciliation and conflicts at the beginning of the 21st century, the role of great powers and international organizations in these processes. Particular attention is paid to the missile and nuclear problem of the Korean peninsula and the multilateral diplomatic efforts of actors involved in the conflict around it, as well as the place of Korean problems in world politics. A detailed analysis of Russia"s policy on the Korean peninsula, its role in Korean settlement, as well as bilateral relations with the Republic of Kazakhstan and the DPRK
