The book of the Laureate of the Pulitzer Prize George Kennan, a prominent American diplomat, an ambassador to the USSR from 1954 to 1963, an analyst, a council, author of numerous works on American diplomacy and foreign policy, tells of a difficult period of world history difficult in terms of the development of the situation in Europe: Eve of World War II, large military conflicts, post -war redistribution of Europe and the confrontation of two political systems.
