The collection is the next release of "materials and research on Russian dialectology", which was made published in 1949 and 1959-1962. The Institute of the Russian Language of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR by six books under the same name. After a significant break in 2002, under the auspices of the Institute of the Russian Language. V.V. Vinogradov RAS was released by a new issue of this series, designated as I (VII) The articles of this issue, written by the Russians of Russia, Latvia, Lithuania and Ukraine, are devoted to the general and private issues of dialectology and linguisticeography.
