The book is the fruit of the work of many units of the World Bank and reflects efforts aimed at a deeper understanding of the phenomenon of corruption. Its first part is devoted to corruption in such sectors of the economy as healthcare, education, forestry, road facilities, electric power, oil and gas, water supply and sewage. The second part considers the management of public finances, in particular the formation and execution of the budget, state purchases of goods and services, the activities of tax and customs departments. The third part is about countering money laundering. “Many -faced corruption” offers a concept that is useful in practice, which will help reformers analyze the situation with corruption and make reforms at the level of the sector targeted.
