Today, our country step by step restores the connection of times, destroyed by a long series of tragic events of the last century, people are united by a natural and powerful sense of imperial patriotism. It is this intonation that makes the book so sincere and soulful. Until recently, the officer corps of the Russian army, which on the battlefields defended great Russia during the civil war, usually painted in gloomy colors, but now we are again discovering our own history - carefully hidden in the Soviet and post -Soviet time. The 16th Tver Dragoon regiment introduced many victorious pages in the history of the Russian army, the names of many of the most famous representatives of Russian culture were associated with it.
In the center of the narrative, not only the military exploits of representatives of the ancient Georgian family of Chavchavadze, but also the desire to make their country better, a sense of love in relation to their native lands.
The author of the book believes that the revival of the memory of our glorious past, both family and state, should be the most convincing response to all attempts to forget that Russia is a great thousand -year -old power, built by faith and force of millions of previous generations.
