In the collection of articles of Russian Koreudsovs, the main attention is paid to positive changes on the Korean peninsula that occurred during 2018. The results of the completed summits of the DPRK leader with the leaders of the PRC, the USA and South Korea are analyzed. The influence of these meetings on the prospects of resolving the nuclear problem of the Korean peninsula is considered. The problems of creating a new mechanism for maintaining peace on the peninsula, taking into account ensuring the interests of Russia"s security, are investigated. The issues of relations between two Korean states with their neighbors in the Swan region are considered. Much attention is paid to the state and prospects of trade and economic relations of the Republic of Korea with Russia, the analysis of some aspects of the experience of the economic development of the Republic of Kazakhstan in terms of its use in the Russian Federation. Certain chapters are devoted to the issues of Korean historical and cultural heritage and its connection with the present, in particular the 100th anniversary of the Pervomartovsky movement of 1919 for the independence of Korea. The book was based on the materials of the 23rd conference of Koreudsov of Russia and the CIS countries conducted on March 28-29, 2019 with the assistance of the Korean Research Academy of the Republic of Korea
