The monograph "Institute of Lobbism in the 21st century" is devoted to a comprehensive study of lobbying in the modern world. An attempt was made to systematize the accumulated knowledge about lobbying and developing a single approach to a comparative analysis of various models of lobbyism. The work shows that lobbyism is a complex phenomenon of political life, which constantly balances on the verge of formal and informal relations, and its development depends on the institutional, cultural and historical characteristics of each particular country, on how the system of interest groups is built, how the interaction is built Between organized groups and authorities, what factors predetermine the genesis of lobbying as a global phenomenon that goes beyond sovereign states.
Lobbyism today is an integral element of political life both at the state and international levels. However, do we know enough about the genesis and current state of lobbying relations in the world? What determines the place and role of groups of interests in the decision -making process? What factors depend on the development of lobbyism in various political systems? The presented monograph reveals the veil over the world of group interests and is the first attempt in Russian science to a large -scale comparative analysis of the institute of lobbyism in the 21st century in Europe, North America and Oceania.
The book will be interesting to specialists in political science, political comparative studies, political sociology, international relations, as well as everyone who is interested in the development of modern political systems.
