The book of an outstanding Soviet specialist in the field of rationalization of labor, a major state and public figure A.K. Gastev (1882-1939) contains his classical work on the scientific organization of labor, production and management. The book consists of introduction and three main parts. In the introduction, in addition to some theoretical issues of the organization, the production of the memo developed by A.K. Gastev, how to work ", it formulated 16 rules that need to be guided during any work. The first part of the book is based on articles on mainly general issues of labor culture. The author describes both technical and psychological principles of labor organization. In the second part, the concept of the scientific organization of labor (notes) is described in detail and substantiated, and the issues of labor rationing are highlighted, and the problems of science about the organization of production are investigated. Finally, the third part is devoted to the practical issues of notes, it discusses the ways of applying forces in the organization of labor and production.
