Handbook for editors of scientific journals

This reference guide was prepared by editors of the original publication based on the handouts used by the Inasp association (the international network of accessibility of scientific publications) during their seminars, and adapted for a wider audience. The materials set out the basic principles of the best practice in the main areas necessary for the preparation of high -quality magazines, ensuring their stable publication, development and promotion into international space. According to editors, the materials are not exhaustive and represent only part of the issues that editors and publishers need to know when publishing a modern scientific journal. However, the brevity of the presentation, the high concentration of the tasks and proposals for their solutions, of course, will provide significant assistance to Russian -speaking editors and everyone who is interested in the publication of international scientific journals. The manual can really and should become a “table book” for the editor of the scientific journal, as exactly determined by the name of this translated publication
