The Green Book "Muammar Gaddafi has become one of the most striking and original works in the history of mankind. Today it is known in Russia and China, the USA and Europe, in Japan and Arab countries.
The work is a programmatic theoretical work, in which the ideological foundations of the development of not only Libya, but also of all mankind are considered. The author opposed his concept to two dominant ideologies - "atheistic communism" and "materialistic capitalism". In contrast, the "Third World Theory" was supposed to become universal, and therefore claiming the absolute truth of the platform. It was based on the symbiosis of socialist ideas and the principles of Islam.
Cadaffi’s book consists of three parts, which consider the problems of democracy and economics, as well as social aspects. In particular, labor covers the problems of public legislation, remuneration, production management and other issues. It is more relevant than ever today, when there is an active search for new ways of social development.
For the first time, all three parts of the Green Book were printed in Tripoli from 1976 to 1979
