The monograph is devoted to the study of the processes of the formation and functioning of phraseological units and the special role that the conceptosphere of culture plays in these processes. Particular attention is paid to the development of the concept of “conceptosphere of culture” from the perspective of linguoculturology and with the justification of its connection with the language and personality as an actor of cultural and language processes. A new approach to the phraseological meaning is proposed, within the framework of which it is understood as a complex simulated entity formed as a result of inter -Semiotic transposition. The method of linguocultural reconstruction of the deep (conceptual) bases of images of phraseologisms is being developed. For the first time, the concept of phraseological creativity is introduced, which is studied as a factor in the cultural conditionality of phraseological units, which affects their systemic creation and discursive functioning. Certain types of cultural information stored in the deep content of phraseological signs are distinguished, and the original method of their linguoculturological decoding and interpretation is proposed. The study is carried out on the material of the English language.
The book is addressed to specialists in the field of linguistics and cultural studies, as well as a wide circle of researchers involved in the problem of mutual awarding language, culture and personality
