This manual is devoted to stage speech issues and includes sections on speech technology: articulation, diction, orthoepy, breathing and voice. It also included the sections “Logic of stage speech” and “versification”. Each topic proposes a number of practical tasks and exercises that contribute to the formation and development of the corresponding skill. Practical material on diction and orthoepy is backed up by methodological recommendations aimed at correcting speech shortcomings. It also proposes a set of bumps available for independent development. In the sections “Logic of stage speech” and “versification”, tasks are proposed related to the analysis and performance of prosaic and poetic texts.
