The modern world is at the fault of information eras. All information infrastructure is destroyed and re -created: collection, storage, processing and analysis of information, all formats and tools related. One of the obvious victims of the information sphere was journalism. Theorists and journalists actively and pathetically protect it, explaining that there is no democracy without journalism. And the journalism itself “resists” and even sometimes takes revenge. What is standing at stake? How do we face the following changes in the information sphere? Is everything really so serious and dangerous? For the first time, questions about the connection of a new populism with information revolutions, about the "new barbarians" in the information space, about the "nursing" functions of journalism, about "homo nuntius - a news of news" and the need to study it.
