In the monograph, digitalization of the economy is considered on both sides: as a phenomenon and as a process, the authors analyze the world experience in the formation of a digital economy in different countries in the context of the possibility of its use in Russia, and attention is paid to the strategic approach to managing the digitalization process. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the implementation of digital technologies in Russia, since it is today that the country is actively working on the implementation of the National Program of the Digital Economy of the Russian Federation for 2018-2024 adopted in 2017, the results of the first years of implementation of this program in the regions were identified and analyzed.
