Digital television

The textbook is devoted to the consideration of the general principles of constructing systems and networks of digital television, compression of digital image and sound signals. The technologies of digital compression of MPEG standards are considered, including the prospects for the development and implementation of new types of compression of HEVC and AVI in digital television of high and ultra -high clarity.
The main directions of the development of television broadcasting for the period 2019-2025 are determined by the results of the implementation of the target federal program "Development of television and broadcasting in the Russian Federation for 2009-2018", as well as the results of the transition of regions to the standard regime from analogue to digital broadcasting.
In the development strategies in the Russian Federation, until 2025, it is especially indicated that the reliability and uninterrupted body broadcasting is indicated. Assessment of the influence of interference on the quality of admission in the field of overlapping of transmitter service zones. A methodology has been developed for evaluating the effectiveness of compensation for interference distortions in digital television broadcasting systems and networks. The operational characteristics of control and measuring equipment, recommendations on their use are given.
