The monograph is devoted to criticism of the sociocultural and political and legal phenomenon - democracy that has been firmly established in the modern world. The author is far from the desire to idealize democracy, considering it exclusively through the prism of undoubtedly existing valuable qualities, virtues and advantages. On the contrary, he sets the goal to open defects and flaws, immanently and a priori inherent in the democratic method of formation, organization and functioning of state power and the corresponding ideology, in a more general way - the corresponding worldview.
The book proposes an original understanding of democracy, the problems of its correlation with the theory and the practice of the separation of powers are covered and the human rights are sewn, the shortcomings of democracy are analyzed, some possible ways and forms, and specifically practical measures are planned to overcome them.
Work is designed for a wide range of readers, primarily scientists-socialists who are all interested in the problems of democracy
