Professor Zoran Avramovich belongs to the circle of very famous Serbian intellectuals, and for decades he has been successfully engaged in political philosophy and modern theoretical thought. The author claims that a sharp problem is modern democracy itself, its dual nature, which manifests itself, including in duplicity and "double standards". For the most part, we are talking about problems that Western democracies create in other states, and not in their internal affairs. The imposition of "dual standards" inevitably leads to the use of force against the governments democratically elected by the people.
The book discusses the relevant contradictions of modern democracy based on the views of large theorists and thinkers: Tokville, Spengler, Popper, Kin, Bobia.
The book is a significant contribution to the understanding of modern Western democracy. It indicates the differences between its internal and foreign policy decisions and the actions of interested parties, as well as the practical experience of using weapons against those states that, in the opinion of some Western countries, are “objectionable”
