Crime and punishment

Since 2014, the Pitirim Sorokin (Syktyvkar) center, with the support of the Government of the Komi Republic, has issued collected works by Pitirim Sorokin. This volume is a stereotypical publication of a book released by the Center "Heritage".
The book of P. A. Sorokin “Crime and punishment, feat and reward” is the first major work of a 24 -year -old scientist. Immediately after its publication (end of 1913, on the title - 1914), it was highly appreciated by the Russian scientific community as an outstanding contribution to domestic and world sociology. This book, although it was written almost a hundred years ago, has not yet lost its relevance to this day. “The mismatch of patterns of behavior” (the main cause of crime, by Sorokin) can help in our time to understand the reasons for numerous interethnic, religious and other conflicts. The application prints all the critical reviews of contemporaries identified today for the first book of the scientist.
