The second volume of the textbook considers the role, place and significance of the main countries and regions of Asia and Africa in world politics. Countries and regions are considered in the aggregate of the international, economic, military, cultural, civilizational, ethno-confessional and other connections that have developed around them. A special emphasis is on internal socio-economic, cultural, ethnic, confessional and political and legal situation in the countries/regions under consideration. The greatest attention is paid to the relations of countries and regions with the outside world, and above all with the leading world powers - the USA, China, Russia, and the European Union.
