The monograph is devoted to the interaction of Russia with the CIS and Baltic countries in the field of book culture. The quantitative, qualitative and structural indicators of book publishing in post -Soviet societies of the late XX - early XXI centuries, interaction factors, analyzes the achievements and contradictions of book culture in the USSR, and the legal framework of book exchange are considered. Separately, the role of the Russian -speaking book in the CIS and Baltic countries is considered.
