The collective monograph “Asian neighbors of Russia: interaction in the regional environment” is the first scientific research in Russia based on the conclusions of modern transitology, which discusses the results and trends of the use of the potential of post -socialist Asian countries in the framework of their built -in global reality. Due to the fact that the consideration of relations exclusively with the countries of the former social camp does not give a complete picture about today"s place of Russia in the region, relations are also analyzed in the monograph with other neighboring countries.
The work was prepared by the famous scientists of the older generation in collaboration with young researchers, including foreign ones.
