Wyatt Williamk wanted to write a thick book that would be released in hard binding on thick paper. He would devote each chapter to individual animals, starting with small birds: partridges and pigeons, they would follow chicken and ducks - and further, in order of increase, deer, wild boars and cattle, and so until the row would end. The book could become a field guide to eating meat with stories about how animals grow and how they are killed, about how meat is prepared for sale and distributed around the world.
