This monograph is devoted to the study of social restrictions in a holistic and systematic form. Obviously, society or, wider, sociocultural reality not only give a person the possibility of self -realization, but also limit and suppress it. Many thinkers of the past paid attention to this: Lao Tzu considered the retreat of the rulers and the people from the path of Tao, Plato and Aristotle-the wrong political and social organization, K. Marx --- private property, operation, alienation. In this regard, we can also recall Z. Freud, G. Deborah, R. Genon, R.A. Uilson and many others. In this work, the author considers social restrictions as a kind of network, thrown on a person and a society in which it is easy to get confused. The identification of the content, structure, functions, dynamics and methods of social limitation of a person is devoted to this study --- because without the knowledge of the restrictions imposed on us, the path to freedom is closed.
