In the monograph, general approaches are considered to meet the social needs of citizens in modern society from the point of view of the employee, business and the state and the ways to divide social responsibility between them. The relationship between business and society, its role in solving problems of social development in a market economy is analyzed from the position of two theoretical concepts, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and social welfare of employed (Occupational Welfare) Special attention is paid to social services at the place of work as the most obvious point of intersection of the interests of the state, employee and business in the modern economy, given a historical review of the social welfare of employed in Russia. The work discloses the problems of organizing the protection of health workers, including economic issues of labor protection and safety.
