The monograph prepared by the employees of the Department of Social Psychology at St. Petersburg State University presents theoretical and practical positions on the current state of social psychology of communication as a branch of scientific knowledge. Various aspects of social psychology of communication are considered here based on the results of research conducted in recent years by domestic and foreign scientists. A significant place is occupied by the works of psychologists from St. Petersburg State University. Communication in various forms accompanies all human activities, so the content of the monograph covers a wide range of communication processes in the spheres of family and professional organizations, in different social groups - small and large. Special attention is paid to issues of interethnic relations and intercultural communication. The monograph may be of interest to psychologists as well as representatives of related scientific disciplines such as sociologists, cultural studies experts, and ethnographers.
