The theoretical and empirical analysis of the socio-psychological space (its understanding, characteristics, species, connections with other phenomena) made it possible to consider this phenomenon in the context of the general paradigmatic development of human psychology studies. A fundamentally new theoretical result is the identification of the phenomena of the socio-psychological space of the personality, the analysis of the basic provisions on its functioning and development, as well as the description of its diverse functions. For the first time, the leading processes and grounds for the formation of socio-psychological space were considered: the categorization of social environment, self-presentation and self-expression, mutual determination of socio-psychological space and the behavior of the subject. The author’s dynamic model of socio -psychological space has been developed, which can have application in various fields (business, professional, friendly, etc)
