The manual contains theoretical analysis of the models of social development of children with disabilities. The mechanisms of primary socialization of children with deviations in development in interdisciplinary knowledge are discussed, the social orientation of the education and training of children of preschool age with impaired intelligence is revealed. Special attention is paid to the role of family and social education in socio-rehabilitation work with atypical children and their families.
