The author considers the four most prolonged and large-scale campaigns in detail: US War with rebels in the Philippines in 1898-1903, the actions of the French troops in Algeria in 1954-1962, Anti-Partisan operations of the British in Malaya in 1948-1955. And the War in Vietnam in the 1960s.
The goal of the author is to identify the patterns of the partisan and anti-Partizan war, disassemble the goals and methods of the opposing parties, analyze their effectiveness in various conditions
