British journalist and publicist Leila Berg struggled for the rights of children, alternative education and informal learning methods. And Leila Berg was an excellent children"s writer. She composed fascinating stories and for curious babies, and for older children. She was very loved in Russia in the 50s of the last century, more than once published individual stories in children"s magazines, published several books. Little stories about the little pit "saw the light in 1952 and since then repeatedly reprinted (including in Russian in 1955).
Hero "Little Stories" is the most ordinary boy: very curious, in moderation Shalun. He walks along the streets together with his shadow, knows everything new, and every day for him or "wonderful", or "special" or just "good". The author is surprisingly accurately reports to the worldview of the child - what he sees adults, as evaluating their words and actions, as he comes. And, I must say, Peit is lucky on good adults - understanding, patient, ready to help, explain and even participate in an imaginary boy"s game.
In the book, the illustrations of Vitaly Goryolay are reproduced to the first edition.
The book is recommended for unhightened adult children of preschool age
