The collection of works by the English writer Herbert Wells included his best science fiction novels, which became a kind of visiting card of the author and the classic of the “Time Literature”: “Time Machine” (1895)-a gloomy narrative about the life of mankind of 802701, “The island of Dr. Moro (1896) and Invisible Man (1897)-stories about amazing experiments committed by brilliant and crazy scientists who boldly endure the laws of nature, social prohibitions and moral norms, and the War of Worlds (1897)-one of the first books On the theme of alien aggression, which is popular in later literature and cinema, threatening the existence of mankind. The collection also includes the most famous stories of Wells - “The man who made diamonds”, “Strange orchid”, “A wonderful case with Davidson"s eyes”, “Crystal egg”, etc
