The leadership presents a modern clinical classification of the cranial and brain injury, including its forms, gradation of the oppression of consciousness, the criteria for assessing the severity of the status of the victims. The first developed classification of the consequences and complications of the cranial injury with their deployed definitions and clinical and morphological options are presented, the general sevenology of brain damage is described with the allocation of three symptom classes: dropping, irritation and disunity. Chapters dedicated to focal and diffuse brain injuries are unified in their construct and include definition, epidemiology, pathological and pathogenesis, clinical picture, diagnosis, treatment, forecast and outcomes. A new algorithm for organizing medical care victims with a concussion of the brain is presented, indications of the differentiated - surgical or conservative - treatment of severe damage to the brain substance are formulated, conceptual approaches to the treatment of basic clinical forms of the effects of cranial injuries are disclosed.
