Skin diseases of the groin and perianal area

The book sets out the main data on the anatomy, histology and physiology of the skin of the perianal region and the perineum, its features and differences from the skin of other localizations. From the point of view of modern scientific data, the mechanisms of synergistic work of the pelvic organs and systems are described in normal and pathological conditions, including those caused by injuries and postoperative damage. In a brief and affordable form, the issues of etiopathogenesis and clinics of the most common skin and sexually transmitted diseases localized in the perianal region are considered. Various examinations used in everyday practice are presented for the diagnosis of dermatoses and sexually transmitted infections, and the issues of treatment, prevention and hygiene are highlighted.
In the first, introductory part, the basic data of the anatomical and histological structure of the skin of the perianal region, its physiological functions, and the distinctive features of the skin of this localization are presented.
Subsequent parts of the book are divided into blocks dedicated to dermatology, venereology, gynecology, proctology and urology, in each of which nosology, most common in practice, are dismantled. The basic data on etiology, clinical manifestations, modern methods of treatment and prevention of the most common skin diseases of the perianal region are analyzed in detail. Separately illuminated the problems of postpartum disorders and injuries of the perineum and the muscle frame of the pelvis.
The publication contains a description of interesting clinical cases illustrated by photographs.
