The issues of applying the principles of systems analysis in the design of complex technical objects are considered. The theoretical foundations of systems analysis, basic principles and features of designing optoelectronic and laser systems, criteria for making optimal technical decisions and methods for solving optimization problems, issues of modeling technical objects, and specifically laser technology, are presented. Separate discussions are held on the issues of system design of main laser systems, in particular optical resonators. Practical examples of applying the methodology of system design in creating laser systems and optoelectronic devices for various purposes, their integration to solve complex engineering problems are presented.
