This book lifts the veil on the life of one of those Indian saints who does not speak English and, accordingly, remains unnoticed by foreign spiritual seekers in India, and whose life is little covered in literature in European languages. Nevertheless, the spiritual feat of such ascetics is truly great and often comparable to the achievements of celebrated yogis.
Swami Shri Lakshman Das Avadhut is a great saint of Uttarakhand who achieved Self-realization, having spent years of his spiritual practice on the banks of the Ganges, mainly in Gangotri. He was the embodiment of asceticism, renunciation of the worldly, and selfless service to spiritual ascetics.
